I have been happy with this polarizer so far when taking pictures of blue skies.The polarizer really accentuates the rich blue of the sky.Advertising material, stopping on a polarizer, f, suggesting the absence of significant changes. However, I noticed that there is a significant difference in the f-stop, particularly in overcast or low light conditions.Some pictures I took with the polarizer it came out blurry when the camera is adjusted for lighting by holding the shutter open longer. Like most folks, I was hesitant to buy a cheap 3rd party battery for my new Nikon D90.I bit the bullet because of the positive reviews I saw here. The batteries in the past few months Ive shot thousands of pictures, but there was no problem. It did take a couple of charge cycles to bring the battery to full capacity, but that is typical of lithium ion batteries. Opteka argues that the battery capacity is 2000 mAh mAh compared to 1500 of genuine Nikon. This is false or an exaggeration- the capacity seems to be about equal to the Nikon.

I accidentally dropped the camera into a large mud puddle while riding an elephant in SE Asia.Incredibly, after about 5 days of letting it dry and very gently cleaning the exterior with a Q-tip (as I was backpacking I didn't have the tools to actually open the camera) it still worked great.There is a small amount of dirt on the LCD screen, but thats nothing considering it had dropped about 12ft. and submerged in jungle muck for about 15 seconds..

I've had this camera for a few years and i've taking great pitures with it. I do think i like my canon XSi better, but that is newer technoligy.Pictures, I took more, but I like to see the photos immediately, as the XSi. There isn't many things to manualy control, it does have auto-focus, and i like having that.Really all there is to wheel mode, AV Taimuautoshottobotan been set, what they are really big. As a sugjestion, i got a battery pack for the camaera.which makes the camera has a longer length about 2x Battery. Also, you probaly don't need to get these but i have 28-90 lens.Overall this is a good camera..
