I previously had a Sony ICD-MX20 Memory Stick Pro Duo Digital Voice Recorder that was so bad that I gave it away to another unsuspecting employee.My replacement was the DS-2300 recorder.I have been very pleased after 6 months of use.It is a Ph.D. device (push here dummy) which is perfect for my skill set.It functions intuitively.Slowly go back over previous dictation redictate. Very simple and easy to understand controls.Have barely looked at the manual, my major criteria for whether something is well-designed..
