I have a 3K Sony VX2000 with a 2K water housing and the video image from the Exacti actually compares to the Sony, with tons more portability and much less set up.The Mpg4 video and the 8 megapixel stills are perfect for any home type images or uploads to youtube.Make sure you rinse the camera off well, especially at the joint where the viewfinder pops after every use. You can shoot all day with three batteries and an 8 gig card.This is the best camera I have ever owned for personal use, hands down..
