I got this lense and was a bit intimidated by the size of it at first.But I just put it on my Nikon D60 and took it for a hike in the preserve across from my house.When you get used to implement it on the camera weight is not a big deal. The optical stabilizer makes up for any shake or tremor while you are shooting and I got some really good shots of a red-tail flying overhead as well as a downy woodpecker.I would recommend it to anyone..
